Your PDF leaves your device. Turning it into a working spreadsheet needs a real office engine, so the file goes to our server, LibreOffice converts it, and the .xlsx comes back. Transit is encrypted and we keep no copy once the job wraps. The fully on-device promise covers only LittlePDF's in-browser tools, never a server conversion like this.

How well do tables come across?

It depends on how the PDF was built. A PDF exported from a spreadsheet or one with real, ruled tables converts cleanly into rows and columns. A scanned page, or one where numbers are just text laid out to look like a grid, has no underlying table structure for LibreOffice to read, so cells can run together or fall into one column. Plan to check the result and fix the odd row.

Will it read a scanned PDF?

Not as a spreadsheet. This conversion reads the text already inside the PDF; it does not recognize text in a scanned image. If your PDF is a photo or scan of a page, run it through the OCR PDF tool first to add a real text layer, then convert that result.

What is the price, and how large a PDF can I send?

Three credits per spreadsheet. A free account carries 500 credits each day, enough for about 160 conversions, with uploads capped at 25 MB. Pro ($6.99/mo, or $4.99/mo billed annually) pushes that cap to 500 MB.

Once I have my spreadsheet, what becomes of the uploaded PDF?

Once the spreadsheet is ready we keep no copy of the upload, and nothing about it is reused. On a server conversion the safeguards are encrypted transit and our holding on to nothing, not the never-leaves-your-device assurance that applies to LittlePDF's client-side tools.
