On upload the tool scans the PDF's form and lists every field it contains, mapping text fields, checkboxes, radio groups, and dropdowns to the right input. If the PDF has no form fields, it says so and suggests the Edit PDF tool.
Existing Values Preserved
Any answers already saved in the form are read in and shown, so you edit a partly filled form rather than starting from scratch, and only change the fields you need to.
Optional Flatten on Save
A toggle flattens the form when you download, merging your entries into the page so the result is no longer editable. Leave it off to keep the saved form fillable.
