Xodo is Apryse's consumer face, and Apryse builds serious document technology, which shows. There is a web toolkit, a desktop editor in PDF Studio, mobile apps, perpetual licences, PDF/A profiles, and an OCR engine from their commercial SDK. What there is not is a usable free tier: Xodo Web allows one free action a day. That single number is what most people bounce off. LittlePDF takes the opposite position.
