Terms of Service
Last updated: March 4, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LittlePDF, operated by Renvia Code ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using LittlePDF at littlepdf.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LittlePDF is an online PDF toolkit that provides tools for merging, splitting, compressing, converting, and otherwise manipulating PDF files. The Service includes both client-side browser-based tools and server-side processing features, including AI-powered document intelligence. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. Account Registration
Certain features of the Service require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate.
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the Service.
4. Free and Pro Plans
LittlePDF offers both free and paid subscription tiers:
a. Free Plan
The Free plan provides access to a limited set of tools with usage restrictions (e.g., file size limits, daily operation caps). Free plan features may change at any time without prior notice.
b. Pro Plan
The Pro plan provides expanded access, higher limits, priority processing, and access to AI-powered tools. Pro plan pricing, features, and limits are described on our Pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase.
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.
- We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you will continue to have access to Pro features until the end of your current period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
- If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to three times over 14 days. If all attempts fail, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload, process, or distribute files that contain malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Use the Service to process files that you do not have the legal right to access or modify.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access or scrape the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to process or distribute illegal content, including but not limited to child exploitation material, stolen intellectual property, or documents facilitating fraud.
- Circumvent any rate limits, usage restrictions, or access controls imposed by the Service.
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our express written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights to files you upload to or process through LittlePDF. We claim no intellectual property rights over your content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your files solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service.
The LittlePDF name, logo, branding, user interface design, documentation, and underlying code are the intellectual property of Renvia Code and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LittlePDF and Renvia Code shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You assume full responsibility for any risks associated with your use of the Service, including any reliance on the accuracy or completeness of processed documents.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes to payment terms or limitation of liability will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
