## About
LittlePDF is a privacy-first PDF toolkit with two processing models, and it is worth being exact about which tool uses which. 18 of the 36 tools run entirely in the browser: merge, split, compress, rotate, organize, delete pages, flatten, page numbers, watermark, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, protect, unlock, edit, sign, form filler, redact and repair. Those files are never uploaded. The other 18 do leave the device. 7 server conversions post the file to a Gotenberg instance, and 11 AI tools send it over an encrypted connection to Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude. In both cases LittlePDF holds the bytes in memory for the length of the request and writes nothing to disk or object storage.
